Tanchoi Purple Floral Saree

Famed for its intricately woven small patterns mainly of flowers and birds, the Tanchoi has a smooth satin finish. Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy in the 19th Century commissioned three Joshi brothers from Surat to learn the skill of flat weaving from China and bring it to India, hence the word Tan Choi was coined.

This purple Tanchoi has Rupa (silver) thread weave.

The Blouse is adorned with the handwork done with silver Sequins at the neckline and sleeve that matches the border of the Saree.
